Yes, it’s not actually September. But think about all those times when you’ve been shaking your thing on the dancefloor in a club, and a track like De La Soul’s ‘A Rollerskatin’ Jam Named Saturday’ comes on..mastermix when it’s a Tuesday. Either way, it’s yet another classic from the Rich Color vaults to give you that authentic London pirate soul station broadcast feel in your life. It’s not all about high quality mp3s, you know - kick it like it’s ‘85, kids! Download link and tracklist after the jump, but first, some words from Rich:

Over 9 minutes, not too bad stereo reception. Oh yes, Barry Jones on Horizon Radio 94.5 FM. He did drivetime for ages on the station, and each weeknight at 6pm you got the Mix at Six. A mastermix every day! Usually it was a recent DMC creation, usually UK oriented for the soul boys and girls of London Town. This one fits that description. It has the hallmark digital sampling on it, in the form of a dog. Why did everybody with a digital sampler make it bark? Because it was funny, real roll on the floor funny. And when I made my sampler burp, man, I was weeing on the carpet.
