Paul Oakenfold isn’t the obvious name when it comes to mastermix territory, but he’s in the club too. Live And Direct is a recording taken from Kiss FM in 1985, by Rich Color. Unfortunately no back story or tracklist for this one, but in seven and a half minutes Oakenfold (and his ‘engineer’ Woody Wood) manage to pack in a fair few soulful numbers of the time. Pure novelty factor if nothing else!
